The VEF MINOX camera is so small that you can always carry it with you. It weighs only 125 grams and is 5 cm3 smaller than a matchbox.
The VEF MINOX camera is versatile and requires no technical knowledge to use. The few elements needed to operate the camera are conveniently and clearly arranged on the top of the camera.
The most important part of the camera – the lens – is specially protected with a protective glass cover. The camera and lens are enclosed in a sturdy metal casing.
New search principle. The image to be captured is visible with a bright border, and its size does not depend on the position of the eye.
The VEF MINOX camera is designed without a shutter release button, which is considered one of the most important innovations. When the shell is pulled back, all the necessary actions for shooting are performed automatically: the shutter is cocked, the film is moved and pressed against the shooting window, and the lens and viewfinder are released.
Despite its high light sensitivity (1:3.5), the camera lens has a very small diameter, so no diaphragm (blend) is required.
The short focal length (15 m/m) allows you to photograph objects at a distance of 20 cm without any additional equipment.
The VEF MINOX camera has the only lens shutter with an exposure time of 1/1000 sec. Exposure times of 1/2 – 1-1000 sec., as well as B and T, can be set with the camera open or closed, before or after shooting.
