The State Electrotechnical Factory receives an unprecedented number of foreign requests for Minox cameras. A new joint stock company has just been set up in Zurich, Switzerland — VEF, which will be a branch of the State Electrotechnical Factory with the role of a sales agency, similar to the agencies in Norway and Finland. The task of the new agency is to distribute VEF photographic and radio products in Switzerland. Switzerland buys them intensively. Minox orders in a large number are also received from America, Japan and China. These orders are only gradually being fullfilled, as the current production of 300-400 Minoxes per month cannot satisfy all the demands
